Mineral-based. It's the FDA-allowed max of Zinc Oxide, so if you put on a lot it will be fully white, but rubs in over time. If you put on a little bit less it blends in quickly.

PRO TIP: Coconut oil or baby oil does wonders for post-surf sunscreen removal.
